About Me

I'm Marina Marusenko — a risk, governance and compliance professional with 20 years of experience in banking, working across risk management, compliance, legal and governance functions from local subsidiaries to head office level.

My career has given me a deep, practical understanding of how regulatory expectations translate — or fail to translate — into day-to-day operations. I've led enterprise risk framework teams, closed ECB findings, rolled out governance methodology to thousands of stakeholders globally, and assessed AI and technology adoption from a legal and compliance perspective.

I speak and train on risk governance, regulatory compliance and technology adoption. What works in practice, what doesn't, and why most frameworks fail before they're tested.
